Porno Movies (Single)

"Writing music for me is a way to make Loud Insanity of the Quiet Insanity which is always inside of me. That is how I kill that scary motherfucker inside of my head and stay sane. But he always comes back to get me... And I kill him again. Sometimes writing music is the only way for me to talk about something that really worries me." - Wayne.

FICTION CITY:

BIO:

Fiction City started in a small town of Kill Devil Hills in North Carolina

in 2007.
It's pretty much the project of one man, Michael Wayne. Wayne is the author of all music and lyrics, sometimes he cooperates with other musicians and singers.According to his own words, when at the age of 15 Mike found such bands as Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM, Deftones, Rammstein, etc., their music changed his life completely. He participated in several other projects before Fiction City, playing alt. rock, but soon he separated from his friends and started his new project just by himself. Further on appeared one more member of the project, Ptyza (as a second vocalist and designer).

In 2008 Fiction City finished their first album "Further Degradation is Possible" in the Empty Studio.

During the first 2 weeks their track When I'm Alone gained 6th place in the top 400 of the underground music. 2 tracks are now in daily rotation of Real Industrial Radio, also FC made a video for No Hope For Human Race…

Fiction City define their music as Industrial Rock. However, the genre varies. The main themes of their lyrics are loneliness, emptiness, multiple personality, anger, and suicide.

Fiction City just started a facebook profile - believe it or not, we've never had it. As we are new to this, we don't know much about its features, promotion strategy, and stuff like that. Just checking in to say hi. I can't believe how well people have responded to the remix that you asked me to do. It's really been a treat. Thank you again and keep in touch. Please let me know if you need anything from me for the track for mastering. I can always break out parts for you.

I'm happy to say that the cats of Fiction City (http://fictioncity.fuzz.com/) were kind enough to ask me to make a remix of one of their tunes of my choosing. I picked a lovely tune by the name "My Whatever" of which the original is available on their page - http://fictioncity.fuzz.com/. I slowed it down and added a lot of ambience, jazz and classical sounds. It was really a fun project to dig into and I greatly enjoyed and appreciate the opportunity.

Now that I've broken ground in the remix world, feel free to hit me up to create a mix of one of your tunes if you'd like.

As always, thank you for tuning in and I hope you enjoy.
A very special thanks as well to Fiction City
